From the very start our clients inspired us by their unusual approach to planning a dental clinic. For instance, a part of the space was intended for a co-working area for the clinic’s patients with a café corner. They were committed to catering for their employees’ needs, too, for who, we planned everything necessary to make a dinner, change and take a shower comfortably.
Our core idea was to introduce to the design some imperfections to avoid the classical sterile clinic associations and to prioritize comfort. By using a range of approaches to applying plaster we brought the space together without cyclicity. Each space acquired not only its unique look, but also its own tactile features. It became something that was interesting both to look at and touch.
We have considered the patients’ needs, making each waiting zone suitable for work with such nuances as sockets available in every hall.
The key accent we created for the first floor was an indigo-coloured spiral staircase to the rooftop, where the employees could take a break and relax in the summer. The staircase was framed with a light portal, which created a unique and enigmatic signature look.
