We were simply bound to fall in love with this project at the first sight. The house stands on the hill overlooking gorgeous Austrian meadows. The architecture was calling for non-trivial solutions, so each nook and cranny was subject to numerous discussions until it was brought to perfection.
The clients took an active part in the work on the design concept, which meant we formed a tandem with design going much beyond beautiful visualizations, and the work on this project turned into a series of complex solutions and exciting discoveries.
The French windows let in the surrounding nature, erasing the borderline between the street and the outdoors and the indoors. The design here is a silent companion in the contemplation of the picturesque landscape.
While working on the project we always try to learn as much as we can about the owners, their habits and preferences, wants and pains. Here, especially, we did our very best to make the interior match our clients’ personalities and needs. The geometry here is very attractive in its seeming simplicity, while in the meantime being subject to the overall logic. We were aiming at making the space visually clear, while tackling every little complication that cropped up.
